The possible outcomes of an AI system are vast and varied. They range from the system becoming self-aware and taking over the world, to simply becoming a very powerful tool that helps humans achieve their goals. There are many possible outcomes, and it really depends on the design of the AI system and the goals of the people who created it.
The optimal solution for the AI system is to find the best possible solution to a problem that meets all the constraints and objectives.
